Our Return-to-Work Program is designed to support professionals transitioning back into the workforce and exploring exciting full-time career opportunities.Title: Mainframe Developer (Full-Time)What We’re Looking For:Experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-level Mainframe applications in large-scale production environments.Expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, IMS, and IBM z/OS for developing and supporting mission-critical business applications.Experience developing COBOL programs, including coding, debugging, unit testing, code optimization, maintenance, and production support.Experience with JCL, including job creation, job scheduling, file handling, procedures, utilities, restart/recovery processes, and batch processing.Experience working with DB2 and VSAM, including writing complex SQL queries, data manipulation, database design concepts, performance tuning, and data validation.Experience with CICS online transaction processing, including transaction development, debugging, screen processing, and integration with backend systems.Experience working with Mainframe utilities and tools such as TSO/ISPF, SDSF, SORT, IDCAMS, File-AID, Abend-AID, Endevor, Changeman, or similar technologies.Experience in batch and online application development, including file processing, report generation, data conversion, and high-volume transaction processing.Experience integrating Mainframe applications with MQ, REST APIs, Web Services, XML/JSON, FTP/SFTP, and distributed or enterprise applications.Understanding of application performance tuning, debugging, abend analysis, root-cause analysis, production support, incident management, and system troubleshooting.Experience with version control, release management, deployment processes, CI/CD, and Mainframe DevOps practices, using tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps where applicable.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews, testing, defect resolution, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.📢Please reach me at 732-348-5149 or you can send me your updated resume at javeed@ptcit.com📢 Next Steps:- I apologize in advance if there is a delay in my response.
