Patent Prosecution Paralegal

An Intellectual Property (IP) law firm located in Dallas is seeking an IP paralegal to support IP Counsel.*This is a fully remote position, but the person must live in the DFW area*JOB DUTIESAssisting with the filing and prosecution of U. S. patent applicationsAudit and manage portfolios to ensure patent applications comply with the patent prosecution processAssist with internal review and analyzation of documentsConduct research, monitor deadlines, draft responses to office actions, and provide general administrative support to attorneysREQUIREMENTS3+ years of patent prosecution paralegal experienceLong-term paralegal experience within a law firm settingSKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to multi-taskStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills; team playerProficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe)Strong technical skills required; formal technical training is a plus
