Machine Operator / Programmer – Night Shift *$28–$32/Hour + Overtime | 12% Night Shift Differential | Full-Time* We are seeking an experienced *Machine Operator / Programmer* to join a busy manufacturing operation on night shift. This is a hands-on position for someone who can operate production machinery, review daily schedules, set up jobs, and make programming or machine adjustments to keep production running efficiently. The ideal *Machine Operator / Programmer* is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of their work while maintaining production schedules, quality standards, and safe operating practices. Machine Operator / Programmer – Responsibilities * Safely and efficiently operate assigned production machinery. * Review daily production schedules and prepare machines for upcoming jobs. * Create, modify, and adjust machine programs as needed. * Select and verify proper tooling, materials, and setup components. * Monitor finished parts to ensure they meet required dimensions and tolerances. * Monitor production progress and communicate expected completion times. * Identify potential production or scheduling issues and communicate them to supervisors. * Make adjustments to improve machine efficiency, productivity, and part quality. * Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine equipment checks. * Keep the machine area clean, organized, and safe. * Work with supervisors and coworkers to maintain production schedules. * Follow established quality, production, and safety procedures. Machine Operator / Programmer – Qualifications * *3–5 years of machine operating experience preferred.* * Previous machine programming experience strongly preferred. * Ability to read and follow production schedules, work instructions, and technical documentation. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to troubleshoot basic production and machine issues. * Comfortable working independently and taking initiative. * Ability to work effectively as part of a production team. * Willingness to learn new equipment and manufacturing technology. * Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed. Machine Operator / Programmer – Night Shift Pay & Schedule * *$28–$32/hour*, based on experience. * *12% night shift differential.* * Overtime opportunities available. * Potential to earn *$100,000+ annually with overtime.* * Typical workweek of approximately *50 hours*, depending on workload. * *4-day workweek option available with no required overtime.* * Full-time night shift position.
