Construction Manager

POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced construction manager who has a background in the telecommunications field. The construction manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. This role requires effective communication, team leadership, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships. You must also have experience in fiber construction (aerial and underground). Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of telecom infrastructure construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project coordinationManage project budgets, cost estimates, and resource allocation to achieve cost-effective project outcomesEnsure compliance with safety protocols and industry standardsConduct quality assurance inspections during and after the completion of work to ensure compliance with customer-specific requirementsConduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, identify deviations from plans and take corrective actions as requiredCoach, mentor, and provide guidance to team members, promoting their professional development and growthSupports the recruitment and hiring process for crew and team membersProvide regular updates to clients and upper management, addressing any concerns or changes as neededAccountable for conducting performance evaluations and providing guidance to team membersCollaborates with safety and quality managers to address and resolve safety and quality concernsAssists in facilitating weekly meetings involving staff, subcontractors, and safety, and is capable of leading them when requiredOther duties as assigned Requirements:Minimum 5 years experience as a construction manager or project manager within the telecom fieldBackground in fiber construction (aerial, splicing, underground)Experience with as buildsAbility to lead field teamsExhibits strong critical thing abilitiesDisplays effective conflict resolution skillsLeads by positive example, and ensures tasks are completed in a timely mannerProficiently utilizes Microsoft Office Suite and various other construction and financial software applicationsReadily travels to various sites as necessaryDeciphers and comprehends construction maps, drawings, and diagramsValid driver's license and clean driving recordCapable of passing a pre-employment drug test and background checkHigh School Diploma or GED PREFERRED REQUIREMENTSBi-lingual (Spanish/English)Undergraduate degreeCDL License Benefits:Highly competitive base pay and bonus eligibilityMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits programsLife InsurancePaid Holidays, Vacation Time, and Sick Time401K with company match If you are a motivated professional with leadership experience and a passion for driving connectivity and innovation, we encourage you to apply with your resume detailing your relevant experience and accomplishments.
