Position SummaryPerforms preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems, including mechanical and electrical systems. Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to enhance efficiency, capability, and yield.Essential Job FunctionsPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systemsAdjust or replace worn or defective mechanisms and parts; reassemble repaired systemsInspect maintenance systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or needed adjustments and ensure compliance with applicable codesTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment problemsPrepare technical reports related to preventive maintenance activities and issuesPerform equipment failure analysis, including preventive and unscheduled maintenanceRepair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot water and medical gas supply and distribution systems, including valves, fixtures, and outlets; complete plumbing safety inspectionsRepair, install, and replace wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud workInstall, repair, and maintain electrical wiring systems and equipmentPerform other duties as assignedLicenses/CertificationsJourneyman or master plumber licenseExperience with commercial or industrial plumbing systemsPreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalentTechnical certification in Industrial Maintenance or a related fieldBilingual fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesAbility to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and meet deadlinesProfessional demeanorAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsEnvironmental / Working ConditionsAbility to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts (1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd)Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 35 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit, with occasional exposure above 95 degreesRequirementsPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to stand and use hands and fingers for repetitive motionsFrequently required to stand, walk, and reach above the headOccasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hearAbility to lift a minimum of 10 poundsRequired vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focusExposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and varying noise levels from office to loud production environmentsBenefits401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAnd more.....
