Extension is seeking a Process Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Ripon, WI!About the PositionThis Senior Process Engineer role is a hands-on leadership position focused on assembly and finishing operations. The role drives advanced process improvements in safety, quality, and cost while also mentoring junior engineers and supporting plant-wide continuous improvement efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and implement complex process improvements in safety, quality, and costServe as a technical expert in Lean manufacturing methodologiesTroubleshoot high-impact production issues and lead structured root cause analysis effortsConduct and review time studies, capability studies, and process validation activitiesMentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support staffCollaborate closely with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to optimize operationsLead or support equipment selection, tooling design, and process development for new and existing systemsDrive Kaizen events and broader continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering6+ years of experience in manufacturingStrong hands-on experience with production systems and process optimizationAdvanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, and root cause analysisExperience with Creo and/or AutoCADSchedule & CompensationMonday–Friday, 8am-5pm$110,000 – $120,000 base salaryOnsite in Ripon, WI
