Seed Sales

Meadowland Farmers Coop proudly serves 15 small town communities in Southwest Minnesota, providing Agronomy, Grain, Energy, and Feed services. We are looking to add to our Seed Sales and Operations team at our Lamberton location. This full-time role will be responsible for providing excellent sales and customer service in an effort to drive business growth and maintain strong client relationships. Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Director of Seed: Maintain and grow a territory of accounts providing excellent customer service Set and achieve distribution and growth targets Stay informed of business and market trends to identify opportunities for growth Actively seek out and recognize new business opportunities Manage seed inventory Engage in field operations to ensure a high-quality seed supply and accurate data collection Ensure proper seed treatment and on-time delivery Assess crop performance and provide clients with recommendations for improvements and strategies for future growing seasons Requirements: High school diploma and 3 years related experience (Bachelor's degree in related field preferred), or the equivalent combination of education and experience Valid driver's license and clean MVR Class A CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements (or the ability to obtain) Valid pesticide applicator's license (or the ability to obtain) Excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone Ability to work independently with a strategic mindset Detail and accuracy oriented Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company paid and supplemental life insurance Company paid long-term disability PFML Aflac 401(k) Pension plan Paid time off Holiday pay Clothing allowance Profit sharing bonus EOE (Equal Opportunity Employer) All positions will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check and Motor Vehicle record check.
