Reference it by name, but outside the cover letter itself, do not mention it.ut outside the cover letter itself, do notKey ResponsibilitiesWorks with multiple engineering and IT disciplines to ensure software and systems are designed, built, and fielded in a secure, compliant mannerWorks with development to modernize the architecture of existing software applicationsDesigns, implements, manages, and documents DevSecOps pipeline tooling from end-to-end following established industry standardsHelps establish secure, reusable solutions and processesSupports a Software Factory via build pipelines and associated toolingDesigns, builds, and configures an environment in AzureProvides support for development and production of enterprise database-backed web applicationsProvides support for development and production of data engineering workloadsAssists in migrating the current on-premises system to the Azure environmentProvides guidance on best practices and industry standards to support decision makingMaintains strict confidentiality of sensitive informationRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related fieldExperience coding or scriptingExperience designing and using container systems such as Docker, Kubernetes, Incus, or LXCExperience designing and implementing DevSecOps pipelines in a cloud environmentExperience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud systems like Azure, AKS, Amazon AWS, and EKS Experience with Bash and PowerShellStrong understanding of networkingExperience with software development lifecycleExperience with CI/CD pipeline tooling including build, test, code scanning, deploymentExperience deploying to production environmentsUnderstanding of security scanning, container image scanning, identity management, PKI, IaC, CaCExperience with tools such as SonarQube, Parasoft, Git, JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins, GitHub, Atlassian Bitbucket, and JiraAbility to lead and mentor othersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and with team membersMust be a US citizen and with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:8+ years of DevSecOps, information technology, software development, or build managementExperience with government DevSecOps best practicesExperience with Azure GCC HighExperience with virtual machinesCompTIA Security+ CertificationEntra ID experienceDatabase replication and data obfuscation experienceExperience migrating from on-premises environments to Azure GCC HighAbility to write and troubleshoot application code in at least one programming or scripting language10+ years of software development or information systems experience*Salary Range$70,000 - $140,000Salary commensurate based on education and relevant experienceThis range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role, level, location, market conditions, and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
