Job Title: Data Center Project Controller Location: Barker, New York (Onsite)Position SummaryThe Data Center Project Controller is a critical member of the project team, responsible for monitoring, controlling, and reporting on the cost, schedule, and risk performance of complex, mission-critical data center construction projects. This role acts as a specialized financial and planning custodian, collaborating directly with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.  Key ResponsibilitiesCost Management & Control: Develop, maintain, and update project budgets, forecasting, and cash flow analysis. Track project expenses, review subcontractor requisitions, and oversee owner/subcontractor change orders in the companies ERP system. Schedule Monitoring: Work with schedulers to maintain the Project Master Schedule (Primavera P6), ensuring alignment with cost forecasts, critical path analysis, and milestones. Conduct regular schedule variance analyses and recommend recovery plans when necessary. Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly, weekly cost/schedule reports for leadership and clients, highlighting variances and providing actionable insights, often using ACC and established KPI dashboards.Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks. Ensure compliance with contractual terms, subcontractor requirements, and company procedures (e.g., CCIP administration). Maintain the project Risk Register and perform quantitative risk analysis (such as Monte Carlo simulations) to forecast potential schedule and cost impacts.Change Control Management: Log and track all potential scope changes, impacts, and delays. Oversee the Change Management process, vetting change orders, evaluating cost impacts, and managing contingency.Progress Tracking: Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to track construction physical progress against planned progress.  Required QualificationsExperience: 3–7+ years of project controls, project accounting, or construction management experience, preferably in data center, mission-critical, or complex industrial environments.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6, Procore, and advanced MS Excel.Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction contracts, GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price) development, and vendor payables.  Ideal ProfileBackground working for an owner, developer, or top-tier general contractor on hyperscale projects.Excellent analytical and communication skills to interface with senior stakeholders.Certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.  Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Schedule Variance (SV) and Cost Variance (CV)Accuracy of monthly forecastsTurnaround time for change orders and pay appsProject cash flow optimization Risk Register analysis & contingency reporting Salary (Depending on Experience): Starting at $100,000Terawulf an Equal Opportunity Employer, drug free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
