Your New RoleResponsible for protecting organizational assets by managing physical security systems and providing technical support for security technologies. This role combines risk assessment with hands-on troubleshooting of security hardware and software. Your Role Accountabilities: Monitor and maintain physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms). Provide technical support for security devices and related software. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating to vendors when needed. Conduct security audits and assist in risk assessments. Respond to security incidents and prepare reports. Train staff in security system usage and best practices. Risk Assessment & Planning: Conduct physical security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for facilities. Develop and maintain security plans and emergency response protocols. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., NERC-CIP, DoD UFC). Security Systems Management: Monitor and manage security systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, and intrusion detection. Perform regular maintenance and testing of security equipment. Investigate security breaches and prepare detailed incident reports. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during incidents. Develop and enforce physical security policies and procedures. Provide training and guidance to employees on security measures and emergency protocols. Promote a security-conscious culture within the organization. Collaborate with external security vendors and internal teams for system upgrades and audits. Qualifications & Experiences: 5+ years of prior experience in a related field (media, entertainment, business) Experience with physical security systems and technical support. Familiarity with networking basics and system integrations. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Certifications like PSP or IT-related credentials (CompTIA, Network+) are a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication Superb relationship building skills. Work collaboratively w/small teams. Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
