The Elevator Mechanic will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various elevator systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting system malfunctions, and replacing or adjusting components as needed. The role also involves documenting work performed, following safety and compliance standards, coordinating with property managers, and responding to service calls in a timely and professional manner.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Elevator Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair for vertical transportation systems.Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Elevators, including installation support, adjustments, and system upgrades.Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical and control system issues efficiently.Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Electricity, including reading wiring diagrams, working with control panels, and adhering to electrical safety standards.Previous experience as an elevator mechanic, technician, or similar role in building services is highly beneficial.Relevant trade school certification, apprenticeship completion, or elevator mechanic license (where applicable) is preferred.Ability to follow safety protocols, use diagnostic tools, and work in confined spaces and at heights.Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to collaborate with teammates and property stakeholders.
