This role will be instrumental in establishing our market presence and building long-term customer relationships as we expand across multiple industries. While initially focused on case erecting, case packing, and palletizing applications, the position will grow to include future solution developments.The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in collaborative robotics with proven capital equipment sales experience and the adaptability to grow with our expanding technology portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentDevelop and execute strategic sales plans for cobot based automation solutionsIdentify and qualify new business opportunities within target industries and regionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including plant managers, automation engineers, and C-suite executivesManage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through solution development and contract negotiationProspect Development & Customer AcquisitionConduct territory analysis to identify high-potential prospects and market segmentsResearch and target companies with manual end-of-line processes suitable for automation (future focus to new applications as solutions are released)Create and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across targeted industriesUtilize prospecting methods including cold outreach campaigns, networking, referrals, and industry eventsEstablish company presence in new geographic marketsTechnical Solution DevelopmentCollaborate with engineering teams to create concepts for cobot automation solutionsConduct site assessments and ROI analyses for prospective customersPresent technical proposals and demonstrations of collaborative robot capabilitiesSupport customers through implementation planning and system integration processesMarket ExpansionRepresent company at industry trade shows and conferencesSupport the strategic expansion from current end-of-line applications to future solution-based cobot offeringsIdentify new application opportunities aligned with company prioritiesCustomer SuccessSet clear expectations and deliver high customer satisfactionMaintain ongoing relationships for potential expansion opportunitiesGather customer feedback to inform product development initiativesProvide post-sale support coordination with technical teamsRequired QualificationsExperience & BackgroundBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of capital machinery sales experienceProven track record in industrial automation or manufacturing equipment salesExperience with collaborative robots (cobots) and automation technologies preferredKnowledge of end-of-line packaging, palletizing, or material handling applicationsTechnical SkillsUnderstanding of industrial automation concepts and applicationsFamiliarity with robotic systems integration and programming conceptsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsProficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking toolsCore CompetenciesStrong consultative selling and relationship-building skills across diverse territoriesExcellent presentation and communication abilities for various stakeholder levelsSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and manage large geographic territoriesProblem-solving aptitude for complex technical sales situationsStrategic planning and market development capabilitiesProven ability to identify and penetrate new markets and customer segmentsWillingness to travel (estimated 25-50%)Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience with Doosan, Universal Robots, or other cobot manufacturersBackground in packaging, food & beverage, consumer goods, or logistics industriesExperience selling engineered-to-order or custom automation solutionsProven track record of successful territory development and market penetrationWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary with commission structureComprehensive benefits package including health, life, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchingProfessional development opportunities and training programsOpportunity to be part of a growing organization at the forefront of cobot technologyCollaborative work environment with international team support[Doosan Robotics X ONExia] offers unique opportunities for career advancement within a global robotics organization.
