General Summary: The Sr. Loan Servicing Administrator validates the accuracy of all loan-level data on the core servicing platform in order to ensure error-free member statements, regulatory filings, credit bureau reporting and credit union financials. This person also communicates with members, designated service providers and colleagues at all levels to provide best-in-class service.  Key Essential Responsibilities:  Receives incoming calls from members and resolves all questions/concerns in a manner that is acceptable to the member and in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills to perform accurate and timely account research, reconciliation and complaint resolution.   Performs significant Quality Control functions, either as a primary responsibility or in a back-up capacity:   conducts a formal review of loan documentation for completeness and accuracy, identifies loan booking errors in Branch Suite, manages the lien perfection & lien release process,  processes vehicle titles and tracks receipt of recorded mortgages, and follows up with Loan Origination staff to ensure resolution of post-closing documentation exceptions. Consistently works to achieve expert-level knowledge of SFCU loan products, core servicing system functionality and compliance rules (BSA, RESPA, Dodd Frank, Biggert-Waters Flood Act, HMDA, SCRA) in order to service loans in conformity with industry-wide best practices. Accurately processes the processing of payoffs, charge-offs, loan modifications, loan adjustments, forced placed insurance advances/refunds, loan conversions, Skip Pay processing, ACH refunds, Life & Disability insurance disbursements, and share-to-loan transfers. Assist with projects as needed and offers suggestions to build workflow efficiencies.  Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards to work effectively with members, co-workers, management and vendors. Keeps abreast of industry developments including, but not limited to changes in regulations and technology. Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and Banking/Credit Union Regulations. Performs additional duties as required.   Essential Skills, Knowledge and Requirements:   High school diploma or equivalent.  College coursework strongly preferred.  Will consider experience in lieu of college coursework.    3-5 years of Loan Servicing or Underwriting experience with a bank, credit union or loan servicer. Working knowledge of consumer loan products, title concepts, basic Escrow concepts, mortgage lending, lien perfection, Consumer Compliance rules including BSA, RESPA, Dodd Frank, Biggert-Waters Flood Act, HMDA and SCRA.  Basic Project management skills. Strong analytical / math and communication skills with an acute sense of urgency.  Must be able to read & understand standard consumer loan documentation, manage time & prioritize effectively.  Keen attention to detail with the ability to adapt easily to change with a desire to provide best-in-class service to the member. Proficiency in Word and Excel.  Familiarity with Summit, and web-based applications a plus.
