Physician Assistant - Surgical 1st Assistant

You will work closely with the Chief of Surgery and a team of Vascular and Oncology Surgeons, serving as First Assist in the OR while providing comprehensive patient support across the pre- and post-operative continuum. What You'll Do Serve as First Assist in the operating room alongside Vascular and Oncology Surgeons. Conduct pre-operative evaluations and manage post-operative follow-up care. Participate in clinic responsibilities and ongoing patient management. Assist with inpatient rounding as needed. Coordinate communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure seamless continuity of care. Qualifications Current New York State Physician Assistant license National Certification (NCCPA) Valid DEA license BLS and ACLS certifications
