What You'll DoAs a Quality Control Technician, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality standards are established, maintained, and consistently followed. You'll be a technical resource within our Quality team—supporting inspections, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities Conduct inspections, testing, measurements, and evaluations of manufactured products to engineering and customer specificationsIdentify and document nonconforming products; place items on hold and escalate concerns for review and dispositionCollect data and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activitiesMaintain accurate inspection records and documentation within company systemsCommunicate findings, trends, and improvement recommendations to managementSupport internal and external quality inquiries as directedPrepare and present reports summarizing quality activities and resultsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentYou'll provide data-driven insights to support decision-making while working closely with Quality leadership and other departments. What We're Looking ForExperience & Knowledge Minimum 2 years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control methodsExperience collecting and analyzing inspection dataStrong blueprint reading skills and manufacturing/inspection-related math skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Technical SkillsHands-on experience with inspection and measuring tools, including: CalipersMicrometersHeight gagesSurface platesBore gaugesDial indicatorsRadius gagesProtractorsProfilometersSoft Skills Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilitiesHigh attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentClear, professional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWork Environment & Physical Requirements Combination of desk work and time on the manufacturing floorContinuous interaction with team members across departmentsAbility to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and crouch for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to operate material handling equipment (forklift experience is a plus)Visual acuity for reading blueprints, analyzing data, and performing detailed inspectionsWhy TACO Metals?At TACO Metals, quality isn't just a department—it's part of our culture.
