Director of Strategic Partnerships

CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a Director of Strategic Partnerships.Position OverviewThe Director, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, managing and overseeing vendors that are used broadly across our franchisee population. This role will help promote and ensure a positive experience for franchisees when it comes to procuring widely used goods and services through vendor accountability and preferred vendor agreements that drive financial success for both franchisees as well as corporate.Essential ResponsibilitiesIdentify key vendors that would drive value for the franchisees on a large scale based on common goods and services being purchased across the systemEvaluate external vendors and negotiate preferred vendor relationships including agreements that contain a rebate structure to benefit the corporate financial positionHold vendors accountable through quality assurance and resolving concerns/issues that arise from franchiseesCommunicate and keep franchisees as well as the corporate team informed of all approved vendors and new partnerships that are formedCoordinate information and training sessions between strategic partners and franchisees to promote adoption across the systemPromote approved vendors to drive consistency and showcase value of being part of the company franchise systemQualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance or related business field7-10 years of experience in a procurement type roleFranchise industry experience preferredExperience negotiating agreements with external vendorsAttention to detail of the highest degreeExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (especially Excel)TravelThis role will require limited travel to corporate events that help promote engagement and learning for our corporate team members.CBIZ Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.CBIZ Talent Solutions does not discriminate on the basis of race, ancestry, national origin, color, religion, sex, gender identity, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other protected classification under the law.
