Azure Tech Lead Enterprise ApplicationsWe are hiring on behalf of a leading Investment Banking Technology team that is expanding its engineering capacity to support multiple enterprise application initiatives.We are seeking an experienced Azure Tech Lead (Python / C#) to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications within the Investment Banking (IB) Technology vertical. This role will lead the full-stack build of multiple applications, setting technical direction while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory standards.The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership, guiding developers while shaping architecture decisions and overseeing integration with enterprise SaaS platforms and highly sensitive datasets in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & StrategyServe as the technical lead across multiple application initiatives within the IB Technology portfolioProvide architectural direction and establish engineering best practicesLead and mentor a team of Azure Developers (Python/C#)Partner closely with product, architecture, and platform teamsFull-Stack Development (Azure-Focused)Lead development of cloud-native, full-stack applications on AzureDrive modern engineering practices across backend (Python/C#), APIs, and front-end layersEnsure scalability, maintainability, and performanceArchitecture & System DesignOwn end-to-end solution architecture and design decisionsDefine microservices, API strategies, and data architectureLead system modernization and cloud adoption effortsAPI Development & IntegrationOversee secure API design and implementationLead integration with enterprise SaaS platforms and third-party systemsEnsure robust and secure data exchangeSecurity, Data & ComplianceEnforce best practices for handling highly sensitive datasetsImplement RBAC, authentication, and authorization modelsEnsure compliance with strict regulatory and audit requirementsDelivery OversightOwn delivery quality, timelines, and technical integrityGuide CI/CD, DevOps, and release processes in AzureCommunicate risks and architecture decisions to stakeholdersRequirementsStrong experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer in enterprise environmentsDeep hands-on expertise in Azure + Python and/or C#Proven experience leading full-stack development teamsStrong background in API development and system integrationExperience working in regulated or sensitive data environments (financial services preferred)Expertise in Azure services (App Services, Functions, Azure AD, etc.)Strong system design and cloud architecture experienceAbility to balance hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities
