Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Location: Elkins Park & Philadelphia, PAPosition Type: Locum Psychologist Child & Adult (Rehabilitation) Overview We are seeking a licensed Rehabilitation Psychologist to provide coverage across two locations (split schedule: 3 days at one site and 2 days at another ). This role involves supporting patients and families in a Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program . Practice Highlights • Weekday shifts only 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM• Provide psychological services to patients and families in inpatient rehabilitation• Responsibilities include:Educating families and team members on patient psychological statusRecommending intervention strategies for psychological deficitsParticipating in discharge and destination planning• Population served: Adolescents, Young Adults, Older Adults, Frail Elderly• Travel required between two nearby campuses Candidate Requirements • Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology Required • Concentration in Rehabilitation Psychology preferred • Minimum 3 years clinical experience Required• Experience with behavioral techniques Essential• Family therapy experience Preferred• Pennsylvania Psychology License Required • CPR Certification Required Schedule & Coverage • Start Date: ASAP (Credentialing timeframe: days)• Weekdays only, no call coverage required• Split schedule: 3 days at one site, 2 days at another nearby site Compensation & Benefits • Competitive hourly locum rates• Malpractice coverage provided• Local candidates preferred due to inter-campus travel Why Pennsylvania?
