PROSPECT AT SCRIBNER'S CATSKILL LODGE SEEKS SOUS CHEF Prospect, the on-site restaurant at Scribner's Catskill Lodge, is seeking a Sous Chef to join our incredible team. Seasonal and Year Round employment available. Daytime and evening shifts available. Prospect Restaurant and Bar, located within Scribner's Catskill Lodge, was designed for morning-to-evening drinking and dining and serves guests from both near and far. Our dining room presents floor to ceiling windows, providing 270-degree views of the surrounding Catskill Mountains. Prospect includes a large circular bar and cast-iron stoves. Just off the bar is a large cedar deck featuring outdoor dining and a fire pit. Our on-site garden, The Scribner's Garden, provides fresh produce throughout the spring, summer and autumn. For more info, check out www.scribnersprospect.com RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting in the overall food direction, coordination, and production. Well-rounded cooking experience. Have accurate production skills. Estimates daily production needs on a weekly basis and communicates production needs to kitchen personnel daily. Assists with all kitchen operations and preparation. Prepares and cooks foods of all types.
