This group of diverse Engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force Mission reaching back to the 1960's. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area must be done right, pass meticulous certifications and last for many years to come. If this challenge is for you, you belong in SRP.This position is for a Test and Assessment Lead. In this role, the candidate will:Lead pre and post testing analyses for flight testingLead planning and execution of ground testingPlan and execute delta qualification effortsThe candidate will be leading other team members, including involvement in training and hiring; some travel required.Basic Qualifications:Knowledge and application of one or more of the following systems engineering processes and systems integration functions:Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependenciesSystem integration, test and/or verificationRequirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) developmentSystem modelingSystem experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g. electrical, mechanical, propulsion, radio frequency)Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance; US citizenship requiredDesired Skills:Experience with test assessment performance, processes and proceduresExperience with Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM)8+ years with spacecraft architecture design, development, integration, test with broad based and in-depth knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through systems levelAbility to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete dataAbility to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of daily program operationsRecognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques, with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems and train others in their applicationPay Information:Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
