Job Description:
Metallic Structural Analysis Engineer – Position requires experience in metallic structural analysis methods and documentation, detailed analysis procedures, load paths, load distribution, sizing, fittings/fasteners/joints/splices, acoustics/vibration familiarity, structural integrity plan, design criteria, stability, crippling, durability analysis and finite element modeling of structure.
Desired skills include familiarity with layout sizing, and structural integrity evaluations.
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering with 9 years of experience performing structural analysis in Aerospace structures.
M.S. Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering with 7 years of experience performing structural analysis in Aerospace structures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience performing structural analysis on the F35 Program, and familiar with the Lockheed Martin tools such as IMAT, IDAT, and PDM.
Experience in finite element analysis/modeling techniques, including manipulation of large finite element models.
Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Pay: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour
