You will perform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, groove, thread, drill, tap, and wash a variety of materials and parts.You will:Perform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, groove, thread, drill, tap, and wash a variety of materials and partsSet-up machines where detail and operating procedures are standardized and obviousUtilize CNC equipment, manual machines, precision measuring equipment, overhead hoists, hand tools/power tools/air tools and refractometerMay be required to read part drawings and use adjustable and fixed gauges to check workMaintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform routine maintenancePerform other duties as assignedKey Qualifications:MS Office Suite experienceHigh School or equivalent1 3 years of CNC machining experience requiredPhysical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 30lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):1st Shift: 6:00am 2:00pm Monday - FridayCompensation:The hourly pay for this role is: $26.00/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
