Part Time Deli

Job Overview: Cub Crystal is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time deli position! Deli team members at Cub prepare and finish products, such as meats, salads, and prepared foods to department standards for placement in deli case for customer selection. This position combines customer service and attention to detail to provide customers with safe, reliable and consistent product.Job Responsibilities:Assists with food preparationProvides customers with accurate, prompt and courteous serviceSets, fills and rotates deli cases and displaysAssists in receiving of productBreaks down department and performs cleaning dutiesFollows all store and department policies and proceduresJob Requirements:Equipment operation (compactor, coffee pot, pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, scales, Cry-O-Vac machine, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, food processor, pizza oven).Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.Memorization, reading, writing and math.The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.Must be 18 years of age and older.Physical Requirements:Lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs.Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.Walking on uneven groundReaching, bending, repetitive motionsExposure to hot equipment and cooking oilSchedule:Varied weekly shiftsOpen availability preferredWeekends requiredBenefits:Flexible schedule for work life balance.Employee discount.Weekly pay on a progressive union scale.Union benefits for eligible associates including Paid Time Off.My Cub.
