Business Office Manager In-Training Program
Description:
Cascadia Healthcare Recognizes the need for good talent and has a mission to foster growth in our employees. We are launching a new opportunity for a training program while receiving onsite instruction and hands on learning. The Business Office Manager In -Training position is for those with little to no experience who have a desire to work in Healthcare and support the business side of a skilled nursing facility. We are looking for candidates that share our mission and want to build a long term career in our industry.
Some of the key functions you will learn is assisting in the daily operations of the facility including accounts receivable management, patient billing, accounts payable, central supply and the Resident Trust Fund.
Note: All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each
state’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
Interests/Skills/Abilities
Interest in the field of long term care, with a business mindset or background for billing and collection practices and techniques.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Skilled in the use of computers and the Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to be accurate, concise and detail oriented.
Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce.
Unquestionable integrity.
Preform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
BA degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.
Licenses/Certification
Valid driver’s license required
Experience
Prior office or administration experience preferred.
