This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure projects are fully prepared before construction begins.Position OverviewAs a Pre-Construction Coordinator, you'll play a key role in organizing, tracking, and managing the information and processes that set projects up for success. You'll work closely with Project Managers, designers, and trade partners to keep everything aligned and ready for execution.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Managers with planning and coordination during the pre-construction phaseOrganize schedules, budgets, estimates, and key documentation prior to project startSupport subcontractor outreach, bid collection, and proposal comparisonsReview drawings, specifications, and scopes to ensure accuracy and completenessPrepare detailed project handoff packages for construction teamsTrack selections, approvals, permits, and other pre-start requirementsCommunicate with internal staff, architects, designers, and vendors to resolve issues earlyMaintain organized and up-to-date records using construction management softwareIdentify potential risks and flag concerns before they affect timelines or costsQualifications3+ years of experience in pre-construction, project coordination, estimating, or construction administrationStrong understanding of residential construction workflows and sequencingAbility to read and interpret construction documents and plansExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong communication skills and attention to detailExperience with construction software (such as JobTread, Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar)Proactive, solution-oriented mindsetAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, reliable, and accountableBackground in construction or estimating is a plusCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $65,000-$75,000 annually, based on experiencePaid Time Off: Two weeks of vacation plus eight paid holidaysRetirement Plan: 401(k)Career Growth: Opportunity to develop within a respected residential construction firmWork Environment: Collaborative, team-focused cultureDudonis Construction is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace.Ready to Make an Impact Before the First Nail Is Driven?If you enjoy bringing organization and clarity to complex projects and want to be part of a high-performing team, we encourage you to apply and grow with Dudonis Construction.
