This responsibility has driven them to deliver significant societal and economic benefits to not just the Kingdom, but also to many communities, economies, and countries that rely on the vital and reliable energy they supply.LHR AmericasLHR Americas recruits professionals from around the world to work for top oil and gas companies globally.Who are we looking for?We are seeking a skilled individual who can: Design and enhance a highly intricate enterprise web proxy environment, involving comprehensive planning, coordination, implementation, security, maintenance, performance tuning, and the development of specialized procedures for optimizing the use of the web proxy infrastructure.Evaluate new products and services, conduct thorough systems analysis, and select innovative support methodologies to enhance access control applications.Work under the guidance of the Supervisor and team lead of the Network Services Unit to execute various assignments aimed at maximizing the reliability and performance of enterprise proxy systems.Take proactive steps to recommend strategic technical directions for implementing new methods, acquiring hardware and software, and monitoring and tuning performance.Demonstrate expertise in the field by performing complex tasks with minimal supervision, relying on strategic guidance from the unit head.Support company's web proxy technology, which delivers comprehensive content filtering services and support to all company Departments and project sites throughout North America.Manage company proxy assets in Houston and Austin, Texas, as well as in service locations across New York, Washington, DC, and various project sites across North America.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes new requirements and designs content filtering components to meet global requirements. Plans, designs, implements and tunes proxy infrastructure to enable workstation access to approved web resources.Proactively recommends technical direction for maintaining, enhancing and extending company's web proxy environment.Designs and maintains web security methodology which is reflective of company computer access security policy.Sets web filtering standards and operating guidelines.Oversees the testing and analysis of new technology.Develops the web access component of company's critical business continuation plan.Performs other duties as directed.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business or related discipline.Seven years’ experience in the design, performance tuning and implementation of web proxy and content filtering systems. Extensive experience with Trellix (McAfee web gateway), Bluecoat or Squid is preferred.Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job responsibilities as outlined. Must be able to communicate technical concepts in a non-technical way.Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, be a quick study, able to learn, retain and teach others new technology as it is introduced in the industry; and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies and standard business etiquette.These are the steps to apply for this job: Resume Evaluation:A member of our recruitment team will evaluate whether your resume matches the client's job description requirements.
