Software Engineer

Agility Partners is seeking qualified applicants to fill an open Level Sr. Software Engineer position for a Healthcare company that drives better health outcomes by uniting technology and clinical relationships through a connected healthcare network.-Develop and maintain full-stack features for an innovative web and mobile platform that enables customers to virtually engage with their pharmacists-Build and enhance web and mobile applications with a focus on new feature enhancements and production supportCollaborate closely with product teams to deliver solutions that create meaningful business value-Participate in paired programming and test-driven development practices-Write unit tests and contribute to quality assurance processes-Work with REST APIs and microservices architecture-Contribute to system documentation and code reviews-Participate in Agile practices and ceremonies-Support production environments and troubleshootingThe Perfect CandidateThe ideal candidate would bring the following:-Must be local to Columbus and willing to work onsite 3 days per week (M/T/Th)-5+ years of experience working as a full stack software engineer-Strong proficiency in Java for backend development-Experience with modern frontend frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue-Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or NoSQL-Understanding of REST API development and integration-Experience with unit testing and quality assurance practices-Familiarity with paired programming methodologies-Knowledge of Agile practices/tools, including TDD-Highly motivated, self-learner, and technically inquisitive-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (No H1B or C2C candidates)-AWS Cloud platform experience
