This role is responsible for leading production activities, training associates, and ensuring quality and production standards are consistently met. The Team Lead serves as the first point of contact on the floor, providing guidance, support, and oversight to maintain efficient and compliant operations.ResponsibilitiesSet up and oversee production tables, ensuring proper processes, tools, and materials are in placeTrain associates on work instructions, processes, and quality standards; document training as requiredMonitor production and rework activities to ensure work is performed according to established proceduresEnsure production and quality targets are met and maintained throughout the shiftPerform quality audits and verify accuracy of production dataIdentify, address, and escalate quality or process issues to leadership as neededRead and interpret work instructions, Authorized Revisions (A/Rs), and technical drawings (e.g., wire harness)Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending process enhancementsPromote a safe, clean, and organized work environmentCommunicate effectively with associates, supervisors, and cross-functional teamsSupport company policies, client requirements, and EMS/QMS standardsAssist leadership in meeting operational and departmental goalsPhysical RequirementsMust be able to visually identify defects in color, shape, size, or texture of partsMust be able to hear and differentiate sounds in a manufacturing environmentMust be able to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday for extended periods on concrete floors (up to 10-12 hours)Must be able to move within buildings and operational areas, including ascending and descending stairsMust be able to reach, turn, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, and maintain balance to prevent fallsMust be able to reach overhead and perform repetitive movementsMust be able to lift, carry, transfer, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.Must be able to grasp with both hands and perform fine motor tasks requiring coordination and repetitive motionGood hand-eye coordination for inspection and material handlingMust be able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperaturesQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of quality inspection, production, or manufacturing experiencePrior leadership, training, or team lead experience preferredAbility to read and interpret work instructions and technical documentsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and leadershipFamiliarity with Microsoft Office and/or digital reporting systemsWork HoursWork hours and schedules may vary by location, the nature of work, your department, and customers' needs, and are subject to change from time to time to meet business needs.Labor Pool - Variable Schedule Based on Business Needs (Hours Not Guaranteed)BenefitsFlexible scheduling optionsComprehensive insurance and benefits packagesTraining provided for career advancement opportunitiesTeam-oriented company cultureAccess to earned wages through Daily PayOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
