Sr. Product Development Mechanical Engineer

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Development with strong Mechanical Engineering background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative products from concept to production. Your role will involve working on the detailed design of a product, so attention to detail and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles are crucial. I’m looking for someone who can bring both technical and creative problem-solving skills to the project. Our company is at an early-stage development of a medical device. Duties - Utilize expertise in mechanical engineering to design and fabricate prototypes - Oversee project scheduling and ensure timely completion of tasks - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development initiatives - Conduct testing and analysis to validate product performance - Utilize tools such as Arduino, CNC, Simulink, and LabView for product development Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Proven experience in mechanical design and product development - Proficiency in Arduino, Simulink, LabView, and other relevant software - Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of CNC machining processes and mechanical systems - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment · Proficiency in SolidWorks solid modeling drafting skill is a must. · Have had experience leading project/product development is highly desirable. · Creative and innovative thinking is good to have. · Capable of taking design concepts from a sketch to solid model drawing.
