The Role:   As an Inventory Control Clerk, you are crucial to the success of the Fulfillment Center. The Inventory Clerk role works to uphold the standards of quality assurance and accuracy throughout all processes in a clerical setting. In this role, you will work closely with your floor manager, team leads, and fellow associates. This seat is expected to be eager to learn new things, be a team player, and be ready to find out of the box solutions. This position handles and manages any clerical duties related to the Inventory Control department.What You’ll Do: Work towards upholding the standards of Cart.com and ensuring accuracy in all inventory processesInteract and communicate with individuals across various departments in the organization to resolve root causesEnsure inventory accuracy throughout the receiving, put away, and returns processesConduct accurate cycle counts and audits of inventory locations per handheld device/forms in the warehouse and make system updates as requiredResearch and locate missing productHandle special projects as assigned by managementBasic computer work, knowledge and skills: Word, Excel, Outlook emailWho You Are: Able to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to read and utilize matching skills and comprehend department/product documentationGood verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer, data entry, and analysis skillsAbility to operate computer systems with minimal direction after receiving trainingAbility to research defects and issues to determine root causes and drivers of those defectsAbility to meet established standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basisWhat You’ve Done: Previous warehouse experience RF gun or other handheld device experienceNice to Haves:  Previous Inventory experiencePhysical Demands & Working Conditions:   Able to withstand constant physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).Able to be on your feet all dayAble to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. on occasion (document boxes, files, binders, and other items)Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of timeAble to work overtimeConstant exposure to adverse conditions such as dust, noise, fumes, weather, poor lighting, or heavy machinery/equipmentCart.com is an equal opportunity employer.
