American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Radiology TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 04/20/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Days, 5x8hrsHours: 40 hrs/wkStart Date: Apr 20, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist at a Level III Trauma Center in Milwaukee, WI, with a minimum of 2 years of acute or surgical experience and strong procedural/OR skills.DetailsWork in a Radiology department at a 636-bed, Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center in Milwaukee, WIDepartment includes 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 video swallow room, 2 clinic diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental roomPatient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural patients across all age ranges, with some pediatric casesAverage caseload of 15–20 patients per tech per dayProcedures include fluoroscopy (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases) and OR cases (ortho, general, and spine)Equipment includes GE, Fuji, and Del Medical X-ray systems, GE 9900 and Elite C-arms, Medtronic O-arms, and McKesson PACSEMR: Epic (experience required)8-hour day shifts with flexible start times between 7:30–9:00 AMMonday–Friday schedule with every other weekend rotation; one day off the week leading into a work weekend and one day off the following weekOne on-call shift per week with three call windows: 6:30 AM–2:00 PM, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, and 10:30 PM–6:30 AMNo floating to other unitsRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of acute or surgical Radiology experience requiredActive ARRT certification requiredActive Wisconsin Radiology license required (if applicable)Current BLS requiredProficiency in surgical/procedural imaging, general radiography, and portable X-ray requiredExperience with fluoroscopy procedures (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic, urology) requiredOR imaging experience including ortho, general, and spine cases required; comfort with O-arm preferredMid-to-high level acute care hospital experience requiredEpic EMR experience requiredMinimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RNLast 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for considerationAdditional InformationPerform general radiography, portable imaging, fluoroscopy-guided procedures, and OR/surgical imaging across a high-acuity inpatient and outpatient environmentDepartment is fast-paced with a high-acuity patient populationLead tech present on first shift; radiologist, hospitalist, and intensivist on site 24/7Staffing includes 14 techs on days, 7 on second shift, and 3 on third shiftOrientation includes facility NEO followed by 7 days of department-specific trainingFirst-time travelers may be considered depending on demonstrated surgical and procedural skill levelOne holiday is expected per contractRTO requests must be approved through the facility managerSurgery scrubs are provided on-siteFree parking available on siteAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-688120.
