JMS Talent Acquisition is an established boutique legal recruiting and staffing firm partnering with law firms and professional services organizations across the country. For more than 25 years, we have specialized in placing legal support professionals and attorneys within Am Law, regional, and boutique firms, with a strong focus on relationship-driven recruiting and long-term partnership building.We are seeking a Recruiting Associate to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, personable, proactive, and interested in building a long-term career in recruiting, talent acquisition, or legal staffing.This role will support the full recruiting lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, outreach, screening, interview coordination, resume preparation, candidate relationship management, and administrative support across active searches.ResponsibilitiesSource and identify candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, internal databases, and relationship building. Conduct candidate outreach via phone, email, and initial screening conversationsCoordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring processPrepare candidate resumes, write-ups, and submission materials for client presentationMaintain accurate candidate and client records within internal systems and databasesUtilize applicant tracking systems and internal reporting tools to track productivity, recruiting activity, and pipeline metricsTrack interview feedback, candidate pipelines, and search activityAssist with scheduling, reference coordination, and offer logisticsSupport client needs across multiple practice areas and marketsBuild and maintain strong professional relationships with candidates and clientsAssist with recruiting operations, administrative projects, and market research as neededQualificationsAt least 1 year of recruiting/staffing experience requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, polished, and relationship-oriented communication styleStrong work ethic, initiative, and a proactive, can-do attitudeComfortable speaking with candidates and clients by phone, email, and videoAbility to work independently in a production-driven environment while collaborating closely with a small teamHigh level of accountability and the ability to work in a numbers-driven environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, Bullhorn, and general database systems preferredWhat We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is resourceful, motivated, and eager to learn the business.
