Admission Processing Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY: The Office of Admission is seeking a dependable and organized professional who enjoys helping systems run smoothly and supporting a team that serves prospective students and families. The Admission Processing Coordinator plays an important behind-the-scenes role in the admissions process by helping ensure that applications, records, and communications are handled accurately and efficiently. This position focuses on processes and systems rather than supervising personnel, and it is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem solving, and helping others succeed. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and positive, with a desire to contribute to a collaborative office environment where teamwork and service matter.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesProcessing and reviewing admissions applications to ensure university guidelines are followedConducting final checks on application files before admission decisions are finalizedEvaluating and organizing high school transcripts and helping maintain accurate student recordsAssisting with the consolidation of duplicate records and maintaining clean, organized filesSending admittance letters and enrollment packets to admitted studentsPreparing viewbooks and other materials for mailing to prospective studentsTroubleshooting operational issues and helping resolve questions related to application processingPerforming data entry and providing administrative support to the admissions team as neededAdditional responsibilities as neededRequired Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesPays close attention to detail and takes pride in accurate workIs organized, dependable, and responsiveCommunicates clearly and professionally in both writing and conversationEnjoys helping others and contributing to a positive team environmentDemonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn new systems and processesCan balance multiple tasks and priorities in a busy office settingBrings a problem-solving mindset and good judgment to everyday situationsIs a team player, helping coworkers and students succeedAn applicant must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
