Project Accountant
We are seeking a Development Project Accountant to support the accounting and financial operations for a growing multifamily development platform based in Dallas. This individual will partner closely with development, construction, and finance teams to oversee project accounting for ground-up multifamily developments from pre-development through stabilization.Key Responsibilities:Manage project accounting activities for multifamily development projects throughout the full lifecycleTrack project budgets, costs, commitments, draws, and cash flow forecastsProcess construction invoices, pay applications, and lien waivers while ensuring accurate cost allocationPrepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and variance reporting for development projectsCoordinate lender draws, equity requests, and supporting documentationMonitor development budgets and provide reporting on project performance and cost trendsPartner with development and construction teams to ensure accurate project capitalization and closeout processesAssist with audit support and investor reporting as neededQualifications:3+ years of accounting experience with multifamily development, construction, or project accounting exposureExperience supporting ground-up development projects preferredStrong understanding of construction draws, job cost accounting, and development budgetsProficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP systems; Yardi experience preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsThis is an excellent opportunity to join an active development platform with a strong pipeline of multifamily projects and direct exposure to leadership.Benefits information:Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTOEqual Employment Opportunity Statement: Noor Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
