This position is responsible for creating detailed and competitive estimates, managing projects from start to finish, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and ensuring quality delivery while maintaining budget and schedule requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop accurate scopes of work with minimal over/under estimatingCreate detailed floor plans and multi-level/roof sketches using Xactimate SketchMaintain strong working knowledge of all applicable building codesDevelop, monitor, and manage project budgets, addressing any variances proactivelyUtilize company naming conventions for estimates, revisions, proposals, and change ordersMaintain construction schedules and coordinate with trades and management to ensure timely completionApply restoration best practices including source removal, mitigation, decontamination, containment, ventilation, contents cleaning, and deodorizationPerform investigative and controlled demolition and structure decontamination servicesParticipate in ongoing professional development and training, including advanced Xactimate certificationIndependently manage workload and project responsibilitiesMaintain company vehicles in safe, clean, and serviceable conditionComplete all required accident, injury, and incident reporting in a timely mannerDemonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsSupport continuous improvement initiatives to position Our Client as an industry leaderComply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standardsBusiness Development & Client RelationsExpand and maintain a local book of business, primarily with insurance adjusters, along with community businesses, schools, and municipalitiesServe as primary point of contact for property owners, adjusters, and consultantsLead scope development, negotiations, and customer agreementsCoordinate emergency services as needed, including water, fire, smoke, vandalism, and board-up responseIdentify and manage potential site hazards (asbestos, lead, mold, etc.)Maintain a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and customer serviceEnsure compliance with industry TPA program standards and requirementsWork effectively under time constraints while protecting client property and informationQualifications3+ years of experience in construction, restoration, or contents estimatingResidential estimating experience exceeding $50,000 and commercial estimating experience up to $100,000Successful completion of Estimating Platform Level 1 and 2 user certificationSuccessful completion of Xactimate Intermediate TrainingNational rate and material invoicing experienceAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and XactimateStrong understanding of MSDS data and job applicabilityExcellent customer service, communication, and organizational skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to collaborate effectively with team members and vendorsPhysical DemandsFrequent lifting of 50+ lbs unassistedAbility to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksAbility to bend, crouch, and stand as requiredReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions
