Seatrax specializes in highly customized complex projects with customers in every corner of the world.We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer capable of thriving in our fast-paced Houston facility.Responsibilities IncludeDesign of machinery including structure, gear reducers, motors, bearings, hydraulics, electronics, etc.Develop new designs based on customer requirements and industry standardsDevelop repair/modification plans for existing machineryCreate models/drawings of designsCreate bills of materials for large projectsInteracting with all other disciplines and departments including production, manufacturing, purchasing and electricalRequirementsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology or similarGood mechanical aptitudeHydraulic experienceMachine design experienceAutoCAD experience preferredThis position involves an exciting mix of activities daily.
