Job Title: Full Crews Position Overview:CSI Powerline is seeking a skilled Full Crews to join our team! This position involves the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical overhead distribution systems. 📍 Location: San Angelo, Texas🗓 Schedules: Choose between Monday–Friday or 8 days on / 6 days off💵 Per Diem: $150/dayEssential Functions:Safely perform new construction, maintenance, or repair of energized and de-energized overhead workLead crew members in the absence of the ForemanString overhead wire and set poles/anchorsInstall transformers, lightning arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches, and switchgearTroubleshoot primary and secondary system issuesReplace cutout fuses and clear faulted circuits and systemsWork with energized high-voltage systems safely and efficientlyMaintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working orderIdentify primary and secondary voltage on a circuitFollow proper grounding procedures and induced voltage safetyWork at heights and in confined spaces as requiredProperly install and remove PPE and cover-upClimb various structures (wood, steel, etc.) with necessary toolsPhase out a line using phasing sticksPlan safe work procedures based on job prints or work ordersObtain a one-shot on a recloser and perform safe reconductoring jobsConduct pre-job or tailgate briefingsWork live high-voltage distribution power lines using appropriate glovesSafely install and remove mechanical jumpers and use load-bust toolsPerform other related duties as requiredWork outdoors, often in inclement weather conditionsRequirements:Minimum of 5 years of recent field experienceStrong communication skills in EnglishAbility to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) permit within 60 days of employment (CDL preferred)Willingness to travel long distances on short notice and work extended periods at various locationsAbility to lift 50+ lbs. and properly inspect rubber goods and PPEFlexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as neededPhysical Demands:Frequent standing, walking, using hands/fingers, reaching, talking, and hearingExposure to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrationsWorking in extreme weather conditions at construction job sitesHigh noise levels in work environmentsCompetencies:Self-MotivatedTeam-OrientedCustomer-FocusedCompliance with Company Safety Rules & PoliciesJoin our team and play a vital role in delivering safe and reliable electrical distribution services!Apply Today!
