Lead Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Lead a service group within a critical Decision Management Platform focused on fraud detection.• Drive engineering excellence, scale delivery capabilities, and foster innovation.• Align engineering strategy with business goals and mentor high-performing teams.• Oversee the successful delivery of complex software solutions with low latency, high volume, and high availability.• Champion engineering best practices including DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.• Own the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, from requirements through release and support.What You'll Need• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, including leadership roles on complex, mission-critical platforms.• Proven track record of delivering distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.• Experience with fintech, digital payments, authentication, or identity systems.• Strong grounding in security, secure SDLC, PCI considerations, and compliance-driven architecture.• Deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and service-oriented systems.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($140,000 - $231,000) plus bonus potential.• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision insurance.• Generous paid time off, including new parent leave, vacation, and sick leave.• Retirement savings plan with a strong company match and eligibility for tuition reimbursement.Apply via Haystack today!
