Benefits ManagerMiami, FL 33131 (On-site, 5 days/week)Compensation: Up to $120,000OverviewAn established law firm in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to oversee and enhance their comprehensive employee benefits offerings. This role is responsible for managing both Health & Welfare and retirement programs, ensuring a seamless experience for employees while maintaining compliance and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset along with strong operational expertise in benefits administration.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the full lifecycle of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, and related offerings.Administer day-to-day benefits operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high service levels.Partner with payroll to validate benefit-related deductions, adjustments, and leave impacts.Work closely with external brokers and vendors to evaluate renewals, analyze market trends, and recommend plan enhancements.Lead the annual open enrollment process from planning through execution, including system setup, communications, and reconciliation.Develop and deliver clear, engaging benefits communications and education initiatives.Manage employee leave processes in coordination with internal stakeholders.Evaluate program performance and recommend updates or new offerings aligned with organizational needs.Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.).Ensure accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and documentation of all benefits programs.Support budgeting and cost analysis for benefits plans in collaboration with Finance.Serve as the primary contact for vendors, consultants, and carriers, including contract negotiations and issue resolution.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.3-5 years of experience managing employee benefits, including both Health & Welfare and retirement plans.Prior experience within a large law firm environment (AMLAW 200 preferred).Strong knowledge of benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and plan design.Experience with HRIS platforms and benefits systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CEBS are a plus.Apply Now!Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here:https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
