The work schedule will vary according to planned activities and events, and weekend availability is required.Primary Responsibilities:Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic ClubLeads and coordinates learning based activities with children i.e. arts, crafts, games, storytelling etc.Implement safety procedures as instructed by supervisorCompletes accident/incident reports related to child injuries and behaviorAssists with proper set up and breakdown of children's activities and eventsMaintains clean environment for children and membersBuilds a positive dynamic between staff, children, and parentsInteracts with all members, guests, peers, and supervisors in a professional mannerPresents kids first mentality while making safety their top priorityAssist in club wide events that have child friendly activitiesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Exhibit outgoing, professional personalityBe able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong organization, communication, and problem-solving skillsAble to build and maintain relationships with team membersExceptional customer service skillsRequirements:Currently enrolled in high school, high school diploma or equivalentOne year's minimum experience in childcare or youth activitiesCPR Certification (Adult, Child and Infant) Infant AED/First Aid & safety - We will provide trainingAtlanta Athletic Club (AAC) is committed to providing a comprehensive benefit program for your physical and financial wellness, creating value in your most important investment - you!Benefits:Paid Time Off (PTO)Enjoy a holiday rate of 1.5 times normal pay for working on Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day and Thanksgiving401k enrollment after 60 days (team member contributions if eligible)401k employer contributions (4%) after one year if eligibleTeam member appreciation events (including a summer pool party and recognition party)Complimentary meals in our team member dining room during shift
