We are representing a leader in the specialty food industry This isn't just a maintenance role; it’s an opportunity to steward the operational integrity of a company with a massive portfolio of household-name brands found in major retailers nationwide.Our client is looking for a high-calibre Maintenance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment and is ready to lead a skilled technical team toward world-class reliability.The Impact You’ll Make:Strategic Leadership: You will be the technical authority on-site, supervising a multi-shift maintenance department and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Operational Excellence: You will transition the facility from reactive repairs to a sophisticated Preventive Maintenance (PM) model, significantly impacting the bottom line by maximizing \"up-time.\"Technical Stewardship: You will oversee complex systems including high-speed packaging, automated processing, and critical industrial refrigeration systems essential for product integrity.Safety & Quality: Operating within the rigorous standards of food production (SQF/FDA), you will ensure that every repair and installation meets the highest safety and sanitary benchmarks.What We Are Looking For:The \"Player-Coach\" Mentality: You possess a rare blend of high-level supervisory skills and deep \"under-the-hood\" technical knowledge of industrial equipment.Specialized Expertise: A strong background in Electrical systems or Industrial Refrigeration is highly preferred to manage the plant’s core infrastructure.Industry Pedigree: A background in Manufacturing is essential; experience within Food, Beverage, or Pharma (high-sanitation environments) is a significant advantage.Reliability Experts: Someone who doesn't just fix problems but analyses root causes to prevent recurrence.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: Professional certification in Electrical Systems or Refrigeration is a major plus.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management is preferred, though equivalent veteran-level field experience is highly valued.
