Senior Project Manager - Role SummaryThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, management, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects according to specifications and within budget, from initiation through completion.The Senior Project Manager leads Joint Project Teams (JPTs) and applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to guide project teams and manage project schedule, cost, and performance risk. The goal is to ensure each project is completed within defined constraints (time, budget, personnel, quality, materials) and delivered at a high level of quality. This role is generally assigned to large, multifaceted projects. The Senior Project Manager serves as the single point of contact for a specific project and assumes the leadership role in safely managing it.Budget ResponsibilityAbility to manage a large project budget over $25 million, orA portfolio of projects with a combined value over $75 million for all active projects assigned.EducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a Technical Field, or equivalent education, training, and/or related work experience.Master's degree preferred but not required.Certifications / LicensesProject Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) within one year of appointment or assuming the Senior PM position (see SPP-34.018 for exceptions/extensions).A demonstrated desire to excel in the professional field of study, as shown through certification/licensure (e.g., PE, CPA, CFP, etc.), is preferred but not required.Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
