QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field 6-8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or project management 3-5+ years managing capital projects and departmental budgets ERP/SAP systems and digital collaboration tools Experience in high-speed, highly automated Food/Beverage manufacturing Maintenance excellence frameworks (TPM, PM, PdM) Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills OverviewThe Plant Engineering Manager is a key member of the site leadership team, responsible for driving the performance, reliability, and long-term strategy of all technical systems within the facility. This role leads engineering, maintenance, and capital execution while shaping a multi-year roadmap to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and asset performance.You will play a critical role in advancing plant capabilities through capital investment, energy optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives—while developing a high-performing technical team aligned to business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyLead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team across engineering, maintenance, and project management Serve as a core member of the site leadership team, influencing plant direction and performance Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Drive organizational capability through training, development, and succession planning Capital & Financial ManagementOwn and manage the facility’s capital and maintenance budgets Develop and execute a comprehensive 5-year capital strategy aligned with business goals Prioritize and deliver capital projects that improve reliability, capacity, and efficiency Manage external vendors and contractors to ensure cost, quality, and timeline adherence Technical Excellence & ReliabilityEnsure optimal performance and reliability of all plant equipment and systems Lead implementation of maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered) Oversee commissioning, validation, and startup of new equipment and processes Drive root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions for equipment and process failures Energy & SustainabilityLead plant-wide energy management and optimization initiatives Identify and execute projects that reduce cost, improve efficiency, and support sustainability goals Compliance & Operational SupportEnsure all engineering and contractor activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards Partner cross-functionally to support production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure proper validation, testing, and training for new systems and processes
