Brief DescriptionSabert is looking for an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team!Day and Night shift openingsJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electrical controls and mechanical troubleshooting. This position supports our extrusion & thermoforming operations and involves working with a wide range of equipment, including:Extruders & Roll Stacks Thermoformers & Trim Presses Granulators (Grinders) Vacuum Pumps & Blenders Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, & pneumatic systemsResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair equipment issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsTroubleshoot AC and DC motor drives, relays, motors, and control systemsPerform preventive maintenance (PM) and complete daily walk-throughs of machineryCreate and complete work orders in SAP, including logging time and materials usedAssist with equipment installations, upgrades, and machine reliability projectsUse Microsoft Excel to track maintenance tasks and Outlook to coordinate with the teamFollow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized maintenance areaApply root cause analysis and suggest long-term improvementsCommunicate effectively with team members and other departmentsQualifications3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (non negotiable)Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems (AC/DC) up to 480V 3-phaseSkilled in repairing motors, gearboxes, pneumatic valves, and cylindersAble to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsFamiliar with SAP or other CMMS platforms for work order managementComfortable with Microsoft Excel and OutlookStrong problem-solving and time management skillsAble to learn new systems and equipment quickly, and troubleshoot new machinery without prior hands-on experienceAble to work independently with minimal supervisionAssociate degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent technical training preferredAbility to troubleshoot and work with PLC’s (programming not required)Physical RequirementsLift up to 70 lbs.Stand for 8-12 hoursWork in hot environments, as neededGood manual dexterity and visual acuityScheduleDay shift: 2-2-3 work schedule, 12 hours shift from 6:00am to 6:00pmNight shift: 2-2-3 work schedule, 12 hours shift from 6:00pm to 6:00amIf you take pride in solving problems, keeping equipment running, and being the go-to expert on the floor – we’d like to meet you.SummaryWhat makes Sabert a great place to work:Pay, Benefits And More.Sabert is eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.
