Sr. Applications Analyst - Enterprise Analytics - Full-time with Benefits
The Sr. Applications Analyst enables the Fredrick Health Enterprise Analytics mission by delivering timely, high-quality data sets and infrastructure to support the analytics needs to meet enterprise-level priorities, increasing organizational data literacy through enterprise analytics capabilities, and providing support for Business Intelligence Analysts, department-level analysts, and other assigned tasks and projects. This position will collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI) Analysts and Data Engineers in the performance of duties prioritized by the Data Governance Office (DGO). Additional responsibilities include:Leading development of data sets and data tools based on specifications provided by Business Intelligence Analysts and Data StewardsResponsible for reviewing and completing assigned tasks and providing timely communication to other Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Analysts, and the Director of Enterprise Analytics.Documentation of data definitions and structures and adherence to other data principles. This will include peer review actions on existing and new developments.Following Data Governance principles through requirements analysis, data review and validation, and quality analysisRequires a high level of communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with Meditech, Premier analytics tools, and other software a plus.Minimum Qualifications:EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required in health sciences, statistics/mathematics, information technology, or a healthcare business related field.EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years data experience (healthcare preferred) with an understanding of operational processes, data structures, data systems, and documentation processesMinimum 3-5 years of conducting requirements analysis, data review and validation, and quality analysis working with data stewards.Demonstrated experience in enterprise analytics and customer service collaborating with functional and technical data stewards in delivering analytics and actionable insight.Demonstrated experience participating in data management activities including enterprise data cataloging, data governance and data quality, reporting and visualization solutions, and validation and reporting against enterprise analytics datamarts and solutions.Demonstrated principles and concepts of data governance with other EA analysts, the Data Governance Office, IT teams, data stewards, and data providers.Caring for you as you care for the CommUNITYFrederick Health offers a comprehensive and affordable benefits package. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.Salary range: $90,500.80 - $129,688Hours: On-site. Monday -Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Hours can be flexible within the business day (7am-6pm).
