The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of developing and executing automated test scripts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand software requirements and create comprehensive test plans.Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Provide status reports and updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results.Mentor junior team members and share best practices in software testing.Mandatory Skills:Strong expertise in Selenium with Java for automated testing.Proficient in test case design, execution, and defect management.Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Preferred Skills:Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Detail oriented with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.If you are a motivated and detail oriented Software Testing Engineer with a strong foundation in Selenium and Java, we encourage you to apply and join our team in Plano, Texas.
