Structural Designer

As a structural designer, you should have: An interest in structural design BS in structural, civil, or architectural engineering Experience or a desire to learn industry tools such as AutoCAD, RISA, SAFE, ETABS KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Prepare structural analysis and design calculations Conduct computer analysis and modeling Proactively communicate project status with project managers Assist other engineers in any tasks required to complete a project Maintain organization of project-related materials, including calculations and drawings Coordinate with supervisors on all project-related tasks, deliverables, and communications qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering and/or Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering Passed or intending to take the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) An interest in structural engineering and a desire to grow professionally Experience using a computer with Windows OS and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
