Other duties may be assigned.1. Promotes and sells products, services, and/or related accessories through suggestive sales techniques.2. Call on Landscape Architects, Designers, Furniture Dealers, and any other client who makes site furnishing design and purchasing decisions. 3. Provides customers with new product updates to promote job specifications.4. Sets up meetings to bring product manufacturers to client's office.5. Hosts sales presentations to showcase new products.6. Communicates with the customer to meet the correct pricing for lighting projects they are working on.7. Visits customers regularly to foster relationships and assists in providing any services the customer needs in regard to lighting manufacturers.8. Collaborates with Inside Sales Department to ensure seamless customer experience through quote and order and beyond.9. Attend sales updates and training within the office and factory visits.10. Participates in local trade shows to encourage business.11. Receives and resolves customer complaints and problems within a timely manner.12. Understands and supports sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers.13. Operates computer system to check pricing and stock availability.14. Ensures an attractive and orderly company image at all times through effective sales displays.15. Assists in the training of co-workers as assigned.16. Follows up customer sales as appropriate.17. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.Education/Experience:One year of related experience and/or training.
