Job Opportunity: Inpatient Adult PsychiatristOur organization is actively looking for a board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist specializing in inpatient adult care to become a part of our team at a leading university hospital in Somerville, NJ. This full-time position will be within the Department of Psychiatry, which is renowned for delivering advanced medical care across various specialties. We are in search of motivated physicians to contribute to an inpatient program focused on adults and older adults facing psychiatric and dual disorders. Responsibilities will include managing medications, leading treatment teams, and ensuring the highest standard of care in an acute care environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee medication management for patients in an inpatient setting.Collaborate with treatment teams to provide comprehensive care.Deliver high-quality psychiatric treatment in an acute care context.QualificationsMust be ABPN board-certified or board-eligible in Adult Psychiatry.Current New Jersey medical license or eligibility for licensure in NJ.Experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.Energetic, adaptable, and a strong team player.Open to both new graduates and seasoned professionals.Additionally, current residents may qualify for a residency stipend program, potentially earning up to $24,000 if they join our organization during their final year of training.Compensation and BenefitsThe anticipated salary range for this role is $315,000 to $475,000 annually.
