Adult Psychiatrist 18 J1 Waiver Accepted

Responsibilities The Staff Adult Psychiatrist functions as a leader of the interdisciplinary treatment team in the facility hospital. This includes supervision and direction of the team’s professional assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, discharge planning, performance improvement, and clinical programming activities. Provide consultation to other psychiatrists on difficult-to-manage patients. Serve as a member of and carry out the activities of assigned hospital and departmental committees. Share on-call responsibilities to provide continuity of high-quality care. Qualifications Possession of a medical degree from an accredited school of medicine. Completion of a psychiatric residency program and at least one year of experience as a psychiatrist in a mental health, clinic, program, or correctional facility. License to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery in Michigan. Location The physical location of this position is 30901 Palmer Rd, Westland, MI 48186.
